Auckland police would like to hear from anyone who may be able to identify the skeletal remains of a man found in a remote part of the Hillsborough Cemetery last night.
The body is believed to have been there for up to four months, and was found by a local resident while out walking his dog.
The dead man was wearing black trousers or jeans and blue track pants.
He was also wearing two watches - a silver and gold 'Solvil et Titus' brand and a Casio digital.
The man was about 166 centimetres tall, of slim but muscular build, and thought to be in his twenties.
He had short hair and possibly a receding hairline.
Police say there are no obvious signs of foul play.
