An Australian man hasn't let a lack of togs or chilly winter seas get in the way of the once in a lifetime chance to swim in open water with a majestic humpback whale.
Ollie Dousset was out fishing for snapper with his mate Joe Emmerton near Sydney's Manly Beach when the pair spotted another spectacular, much bigger sea creature - the whale - not far from their boat.
The 25-year-old rope technician didn't have any togs with him and so stripped off and - donning only a snorkelling mask - dove into the choppy water for a closer look.
Emmerton videoed the encounter from the boat.

After finishing his dip and climbing back on board Dousset tells Emmerton the swim "was so cool dude".
"That was unbelievable."
