It was a very wet week for St George's school students last week, as they battled it out in the pool during three of the major water sports events for the year.
Term One sees the students enjoying a physical education curriculum that is focused on swimming, diving and lifesaving.
The school's diving competition started the week on a sunny Monday, held at the Wanganui Collegiate School pool.
Each year group was represented during the competition, showing the practice and discipline which had gone into each dive.
The winning dive in the Senior Girls category was exceptional, with a near perfect score.
