Whanganui's first NZ House & Garden House Tour has proven to be so popular that it is fully booked.
The tour of nine Whanganui properties will take place on Friday and visitors are encouraged to spend the weekend and enjoy the river city's attractions.
Artist Sue Cooke is offering a "Fast, Furious and Fun" print workshop for visitors who will get to produce one woodcut, one mono print and one dry point print during a one-hour session.
NZ House & Garden Magazine has been conducting house tours in support of Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand in other cities for a number of years and this the first time Whanganui has been included.
"We are really looking forward to visiting a city with such a rich heritage and where there's so much creativity and innovation happening in the community," said House & Garden editor Sally Duggan.
