There was a heated exchange between the public gallery and four of the men accused of killing Craig 'Rip' Rippon when they appeared in the High Court at Whanganui yesterday morning.
Mr Rippon died following an assault at a property in Rimu St, Gonville, last month. Six males, including two youths, were charged following the incident.
At yesterday's brief appearance, swearing and abuse went on between the four men in the dock and those in the public gallery.
Justice Simon France continued name suppression for all six accused. Five were remanded in custody and one on bail to reappear on March 3.
Justice France suggested a trial might be able to take place in October. Pleas have yet to be entered.
