Eli Orzessek finds the answers to your travel questions
On a cruise in November, we have just one day in Melbourne and wonder how best to spend it. As part of a cruise last year we also had one day there and took a bus tour, which included city sights - Eureka Sky Tower, Cook's Cottage, Government House and gardens etc. My husband cannot walk a lot, so we would be grateful if you have any suggestions as to how we can make the best use of the limited time.

Melbourne is a great city to spend a day in, as there's so much to see and do. To cut down on walking, I'd recommend using the free tourist tram. There's also an inner-city zone where you can ride the trams for free - ask for a map at a station. I've asked my contact at House of Travel for a few suggestions from their Australia-based team.
For a start, the Queen Victoria Market is always worth visiting - be sure to check it's open! When I was in Melbourne, I made my way there only to discover it was closed.
House of Travel recommends the Queen Vic Market Ultimate Foodie Tour, which is a 90-minute tour through the markets, with plenty to taste along the way.
If you're keen on a meal with a view, check out the Colonial Tramcar for lunch or dinner - you'll see the sights of Melbourne while riding in a converted tramcar restaurant. It offers Australian cuisine and a bar.
If you're sporting types try the Sports Lovers tour - it takes you to the Melbourne Cricket Ground, National Sports Museum and Rod Laver Arena.
If wine is more your thing, you can spend a day on the Yarra Valley Wine Tour with a wine expert. You'll enjoy cellar door tastings, a winery lunch and a tour of Domaine Chandon.
In Melbourne, there's always something on - whether it's a matinee show of Aladdin, The Book of Mormon or The Bodyguard, or the House of Dior exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, you'll find plenty to entertain you.
We're still taking questions for Insurance and Financial Services Ombudsman Karen Stevens - she has more than 18 years' experience dealing with travel insurance complaints.
