He adds the fibre has all been grown, spun and woven in Nepal. Each pashmina is handcrafted so no two are the same.
"They are great gifts and are sure to be well received by anyone."
Barrie says as well as being a beautiful present for someone, each pashmina comes with the bonus of knowing purchasing it is also helping a charitable cause.
Tracey Fabish, owner of Off The Cuff, has kindly offered to sell the pashminas on behalf, says Barrie.
"She has been fantastic, really helpful and it means people can go into either of her shops, in Stratford and in Hawera and see the pashminas and try them on."
Tracey says the pashminas are beautiful.
"They are really good quality, and will make beautiful gifts. A pashmina is a great way to accesorise an outfit, and the range of colours available means everyone will find the perfect one."
Tracey says she is pleased to be able to support a great cause, adding that she thinks the Rotary Club do a great job of helping others.
"Go on in to Off the Cuff, have a look at the beautiful colours and get a head start on your Christmas shopping this year." Barrie says he hopes local people will support this charitable initiative.
"We are also going to be selling a range of Nepalese crafts a bit later on, keep an eye out for more details coming soon."
