The Well Cafe in Eltham is now open and owner operator Hillary Kieft says she has plans to use the profits for charitable means.
Hillary says her and her family have always been involved in missionary work, in particular building wells in areas that don't have access to clean drinking water.
"To me it is very important that the community is educated on how they can help others around the world access clean water, something we often take for granted."
While Hillary says it could take a little time to get settled into her new role at the cafe she says the first place she is looking to help build wells in is Indonesia.
"Through our missionary work as a family we have contact with people in Indonesia that we would like to help support."
