From Santa's workshop to the USA, the Eltham Christmas parade featured floats representing Christmas around the world this year.
As usual, it was clear that people had spent many hours on their imaginative floats, making the judging of them a difficult job.
"I like the one with the people singing." Four-year-old Ella Johnstone thought the second placed Mainly Music float was one of the best, while her friend Grace Truscott (3) liked the Santa's workshop created by Eltham School, who were awarded first place.
Joshua Davies (7) thought seeing Ferdie the Bull was the best part of the parade, "although I liked the lollies the girls gave out too".
The parade was followed by a market day, and for Denise Hopkins it was the perfect opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done. "I have 15 grandies and great-nieces and nephews to buy for this year, and I don't like giving them plastic stuff that won't last the day. Home-made is much better and will be something they can keep for a long time."
