Despite the controversial comedian Kevin Bloody Wilson having a strong cult following in New Zealand I had never seen Kevin live before and wasn't entirely sure what to expect.
Having spoken to him on the phone however, I knew that he had plans to shock the audience with some of his new material for his performance The First of the Final Farewell Tours - Perhaps.
The father-daughter duo of Kevin and Jenny Talia were fantastic to watch. The pair had the audience, including me, crying with laughter as they performed some old classics, as well as some new material.
Jenny opened the show with her wonderful vocals and had the audience singing along as she sang about the struggles of being a women in the modern world. Her songs such as These Boobs, Take It Like A Man and Ten Things were well received by both sexes in audience. However, the crowd favourites were definitely when she deconstructed some of her father's work and gave them a new perspective.
Kevin was welcomed on stage by a roaring audience and got straight into some of his old classics such as Living Next Door to Allen which had close to 100 per cent audience participation.
