Lydia Ko has started 2018 with a bang after recording an opening round of four-under par, 68 to be in a nine-way tie for the lead at the Womens Australian Open in Adelaide this afternoon.

FULL LEADERBOARD
Kos highly publicized team changes were quickly swept off the table as she looked more than comfortable at the Kooyonga Golf Club.
Amazingly at only 20 years of age this is already this is the former world number ones eighth appearance at the Australian Open, showing how long she has been on the scene, already achieving so much in her career to date.
Ko will feature tomorrow afternoon as the Friday crowds flock to see the current tournament leader. There is still a talented wave of players to come this evening that have potential to knock the Kiwi off poll position.
