Shane van Gisbergen's hopes of scoring the outright win at the Spa 24 Hours sports car race evaporated in the 11th hour.

The No.58 McLaren was hit by a slower car when co-driver Come Ledogar was at the wheel.
The Kiwi, Ledogar and co-driver Rob Bell eventually came home 31st, 18 laps off the pace.

BMW claimed their second-straight victory in the famous race, the No.99 Rowe Racing M6 of Alexander Sims, Philipp Eng and Maxime Martin taking a comfortable victory.

The car led for the bulk of the event and survived a rain storm that hit the Spa-Francorchamps with half an hour remaining.
