Besotted women are continuing to bombard jailed footballer Adam Johnson with letters and racy photos a week after he began a six-year sentence for molesting a 15-year-old girl.
The shamed former England star is being sent mail from a number of female admirers, some of whom are allegedly asking to visit him in prison.
Photographs sent to Johnson will be intercepted by prison guards but as long as the letters don't contain dangerous material the 28-year-old will have them forwarded onto him.
Messages of support were first sent to Johnson's home and via social media during his trial but a steady stream are still continuing, according to the Daily Express.
Among the letters Johnson has received in the past were those posted to the £1.8million mansion the former Sunderland winger shared with his then girlfriend Stacey Flounders.
