Kiwi freestyle skier Jossi Wells has claimed his first career gold at the Winter X-Games in Colorado.
The 25 year-old took our victory in the ski slopestyle in Aspen this morning, to top the podium after finishing second in the slopestyle at the X-Games in both 2008 and 2013.
Wells prevailed over Gus Kenworthy from the US and Oystein Braaten of Norway.
Wells clinched victory on his final run with a score of 90, eclipsing his own top score of 88.3, which he set in his first run.
