From half naked pics of rugby players to cheeky tweets, Daily Shorts looks at the light-hearted side of sport.
When New Zealand won the Hong Kong Sevens tournament this weekend they celebrated by dancing shirtless in the rain.
Well, that's how the Americans interpreted it anyway, and the Yanks bloody loved it. Photos of the All Blacks performing the Maori haka in the middle of a rain storm went viral on sites like Reddit, Deadspin and Mashable with readers and editors equally embracing the images with comments like 'NSFW - Not Safe for Wife' and 'Rugby is officially your new favorite sport. You're welcome.'
Who will win the EPL?
When Sky Sport pundit - and former Manchester United skipper - Gary Neville was asked live on air, which of Liverpool or Manchester City he would prefer to win the English Premier League, he rose to the occasion.
'It's like having a choice of two blokes to nick your wife,' he quipped. As expected, social media ate the clip up and the Daily Mail turned it into a spread.
Ceremonial pitch goes bad:
Angels' hitting coach Don Baylor had donned the gloves for the celebrity throw from Vladimir Guerrero to open their season against the Mariners. But while catching the ball he hyper-extend his leg and fractured his right femur. Ouch.
