Brown could also be cover for captain Simon Mannering, who limped out of Sunday's victory over Canberra Raiders with a knee injury.
The most consistent Warrior over the first half of the season, Brown is certain to command a place somewhere, be it at centre or in his favoured back row position.
Apart from Brown's inclusion, coach Ivan Cleary has named the same squad used in the 29-10 victory over the Raiders.
The Warriors sit alone in sixth spot on 26 points, two ahead of Newcastle and Wests Tigers.
Having hammered the Sharks 46-16 on Friday night, the fourth-placed Broncos are also in good form.
"We've been able to pick up four important wins over the past month but going to Suncorp Stadium to face a side playing as well as the Broncos are presents a real step up," Cleary said.
"It's also another big occasion for Brisbane with Darren Lockyer equalling the record for most NRL games."
Lockyer will play his 349th match to draw level with Terry Lamb and Steve Menzies.
The Brisbane captain has the record for most games for one club.
