Springboks fullback Francois Steyn has been ruled out of next week's Tri-Nations test against the All Blacks in Johannesburg.
Steyn injured himself whilst playing for his French club side Racing Metro and will miss the test.
South Africa's national team manager says they're taking Racing Metro's word and as a result the Springboks coaches are going to have to change their approach.
Francois Steyn hasn't played for the Springboks since June before falling out of favour with coach Peter de Villiers.
Zane Kirchner has been starting at fullback in recent times.
