Waikato and Chiefs midfielder Mark Ranby will join Samoan international George Leaupepe at the Coca Cola West Japan rugby club after the Super 14.
Former All Black Ranby announced earlier this month he was severing his ties with New Zealand rugby and the club's name was confirmed in a statement today.
Coca Cola are based in Fukuoka and earlier this year won promotion to the 14-team Japanese premier division.
Samoan midfielder Leaupepe is a current big name at the club, while former Canterbury and Japan midfielder Andrew McCormick is assistant coach.
The New Zealand Rugby Union and Waikato Rugby Union agreed to release Ranby from his contracts so he can join his new club after the Super 14.
