The circus is coming to Rotorua offering locals an adrenaline-filled night of entertainment.
After completing a world tour of South Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia, Weber Bros Circus is returning to New Zealand.
Combining international circus acts and thrilling stunts the title of this year's show is Adrenaline.
The circus tent has been moved from Kuirau Park to Puarenga Park, Te Ngae Rd, due to the weather, and will now run from today until April 9.
Tour manager Nicole Webb said this was the circus group's most exciting and thrilling production yet.
"This adrenaline pumping two-hour show introduces you to the best comedians and FMX Riders under the big top, The Splitting Globe of Death and the show stopping Human Cannon," she said.
Weber Bros is a seventh generation circus and ring mistress Meryl Cassie said that was an important aspect to the show.
"We're a traditional circus, but we've modernised, kept up to date with our audience," she said.
"Adrenaline is really designed to target an international audience. We're a human circus and really the humans can do amazing things."
Mrs Cassie said she "ran away with the circus" a year and a half ago.
"They asked me to come and open a show for them, and I never left," she said.
"I've never had a job where I can share the stage with so many amazing talented people."
She said the show had something for every age group.
"World famous clowns, the death cage, just every single performance is outstanding," she said.
"We've tried to incorporate so many elements into the show, to make it an amazing two hours."
Kiarnna Weber, a silk performer, said the circus members hope to go luging while they were in Rotorua.
Miss Weber performs from a 15m rope hung from the centre of the ring.
Tickets for the shows are available at iTicket or the box office at Puarenga Park.
