The Government Gardens will become a mini Nashville on Sunday as the Geyserland Country Music Club holds its annual Country in the Park event.
The free country music gig will involve members of the Geyserland and Phoenix Country Music Clubs playing to all ages.
Singers are supported by the Geyserland Country Music Club's regular backing band.
Rotorua singer Luana Karl will perform from 1.30pm. Last year she won the Waikato Country Music Awards and Tauranga Star Awards.
This year she will travel to Norfolk Island for the Trans-Tasman Country Music Awards, as well as to Gore for the Gore Gold Guitar Awards.
Geyserland Country Music Club secretary and event organiser, Julie Hill, said Country in the Park was an opportunity for members to perform to a wider audience.
"Rotorua has some fantastic talent with singers of all ages", she said.
"Country music is still popular and those who come along will enjoy everything from traditional country to country rock. The band rotunda is the perfect venue for a family day out.
"People can bring their rugs and deckchairs and settle in for the day, or just come and go."
The event runs from 11.30am to 4pm.
