Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to rock and roll at the museum this weekend.
The Rotorua Museum will hold a beginners' rock and roll dance lesson with the Geyserland Rock'n'Roll Club this Sunday, which will run alongside the museum's 1950s inspired Down the Hall on a Saturday Night exhibition.
Rotorua museum public programmes manager Naiomi Murgatroyd said the event was for everyone to enjoy.
"It's great for families, couples and people of all ages. It's just going to be a fun, relaxed atmosphere where everyone can go and have a boogie," she said.
The lesson, which will run for about an hour, will feature a demonstration by the rock'n'roll club before club members teach guests a series of dance steps.
