The 14-year-old charged over a fatal crash in central Masterton has been remanded in custody for two more weeks.
In the Masterton District Court today, lawyer Jock Blathwayt asked for a remand for two more weeks, indicating that "pleas will be entered".
The youth is charged with dangerous driving causing the deaths of Hoani Korewha and Pacer Willacy-Scott, both 15, on January 31, and with dangerous driving causing injury, failing to stop and getting into a vehicle unlawfully.
Mr Blathwayt said bail was "still being worked through with the assistance of Rangitane".
Judge Tony Walsh remanded the accused until April 6 at 3pm.
