More than $200,000 has been wiped from the price of a designer Queenstown property with views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range, says NZ Sotheby Realty owner/broker Mark Harris.
"We're having to come down and meet the market," says Harris.
The Fernhill four-bedroom property was listed for $1.95 million in March, but offers were now being accepted around $1.695 million.
"It's global economics," he says.
Four years ago, a similar property next door and another nearby sold for $2.4 million and $3.4 million.
