Beyonce's prized weave gets stuck in a rotating fan ... and she just keeps on singing.
The pop star, currently on the road with her Mrs Carter Show World Tour, proved she's the consummate professional when her hair got tangled in the blades of a fan during a concert in Montreal - and she didn't miss a beat.
The incident happened on Monday as the singer was warbling her way through a rousing rendition of her hit Halo from an audience pit.
She continued to sing the track, without missing a note, while security guards tried to prise her locks from the fan, which was positioned at the front of the stage.
There was no indication that Beyonce was injured, according to People.
The chart-topping singer, who will perform three shows at Auckland's Vector Arena in October, later hopped on Instagram to joke about the incident.
"Gravity can't begiiiiiiiin to pull me out of the fan again. I felt my hair was yankiiiiiiiin, she wrote, reworking the lyrics to Halo. "From the fan that's always hatiiiiiiiin," the handwritten note read.
"I got snatched! Goodnight All, B."
A source later revealed to Us Weekly: "Bey's hair got caught in the fan because she went downstage to an area she normally doesn't go for a fan.
"There was a girl in the front who was holding up a sign with a bucket list on it of all the things she wanted to do with her life. It was things like 'graduate from college' and all the boxes were checked except the last one, which was 'Sing With Beyonce!'.
The source added: "Beyonce was so moved she went down into the pit to sing Halo with the girl to give her her final wish. She wasn't even thinking of the fan - she was focused on the girl she was trying to do something nice for and it was unprompted. It really came from a good place."
What a trouper!
