Poll shows Labour has 18-point lead

Labour has an 18-point lead on National and enough support to govern in its own right, according to a poll last night.

The TV3/CM Research poll had Labour down one point to 49 per cent support. National was also down one to 31 per cent.

Labour's junior coalition partner, the Alliance, was on 3.5 per cent - not enough to get back into Parliament without winning an electorate seat. New Zealand First was on 3.3 per cent support, Act was on 2 per cent and the Green Party gained two points to 7 per cent support.
