Someone could be $22 million richer tonight if they've picked the right Powerball numbers.
But there's no guarantee the jackpot will be won tonight.
It's just half the size of the country's biggest ever Lotto win, when a young couple netted $44 million in a must-be-won Powerball draw last year.
The pair had been struggling to buy a house in Auckland prior to their win.
In September this year a $30 million prize was won by a syndicate of 10 women who bought their ticket in Taupo.
