A teenage girl missing in Napier since last night has been found dead, police say.
Earlier today police appealed to the public for help in finding 15-year-old Ariana Reedy. Police and fire crews were searching for her, and had concerns for her well-being.
Reedy was last seen about 11pm in Napier.
"The 15-year-old who was reported missing earlier has been found deceased," police said tonight. "Her death is not considered suspicious and has been referred to the Coroner.
"Police extend their sympathies to the family."
