Nobody was hurt this afternoon when a car crashed through someone's front lawn in Huntly.
A police spokeswoman said the car ploughed through the front yard of a house on Harris St just before 3pm today, but did not hit the house.
A report said there was no damage and no injuries.
Two people involved in an accident near Kumeu haven't fared as well though.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was heading out to SH16 at Kumeu where two cars collided, leaving one person with serious injuries and another with moderate injuries.
The crash happened about 2.45pm.
The section of the state highway between Old North Rd and Old Railway Rd has been closed due to the crash.
Detours are in place for both directions. The New Zealand Transport Agency is advising drivers to avoid the area or delay travel if possible.
