An "out of control" trampoline has damaged cars and a house in Auckland.

Fire Service spokesman Jarron Philips said the trampoline had ended up on the side of a house after flying around Manuel Rd, Silverdale, due to high winds. The caller's wife and daughter were holding onto it until firefighters arrived.

The Fire Service tweeted about the damage at 10.42pm.

"A flying trampoline has damaged cars and a house and is now on the side of a house in Silverdale.

"Naughty trampoline."

Philips said the fire crew would secure it.
