Aggarwal was considered dangerous and members of the public should not approach him, police said.

Aggarwal was aware police were looking for him. Police believed he was "actively evading" them.

They asked anyone who has seen Aggarwal to call 111 immediately.

People with non-urgent information about Aggarwal could call Auckland CIB on 09 302 6557 or anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, police said.
