After four years of waiting, Rangiora finally has its Farmers back.
The North Canterbury town's anchor store was demolished in 2012, due to ongoing safety concerns following the quakes.
Local Mayor David Ayers says he made a comment a while back he wouldn't buy new underpants until the store was
open, so now after four years he has two new pairs.
He says around 150 people turned up to the opening and the town is buzzing.
