A woman's body has been found near the motorway north of Auckland.
It was discovered by a member of the public near the intersection of Dairy Flat Highway and State Highway One in Silverdale.
Acting senior sergeant Adrian Kerin told the Herald at the scene that there were no suspicious circumstances.
She was discovered by a doctor who was driving past and confirmed she had died.
The woman was aged in her early 20s and local to the area.
