Labour leader Andrew Little needs a makeover, according to fashion guru Colin Mathura-Jeffree.
The former model and TV personality assessed Mr Little's style and look and believes a few fashion tweaks could help "separate him from the conveyor belt of beige".
Mr Mathura-Jeffree thinks the leader of the Labour Party needs a classic, refined look; one that says, 'I'm a million dollars and I'm going to bring a trillion dollars into New Zealand'.
"He needs to maintain the good crisp clean haircut at all times. The sideburns though are a little too dated."
"He needs to change up to current, light-rimmed glasses. Andrew Little has a warm smile and his eye contact with people is very good."

"Mr Little is very clued on and in focus. When he shakes someone's hand, he taps their arm or something, to show that he is relateable. But he needs to interact more. The Prime Minister [John Key] walks up to me and says, 'Hello Colin'. People will always back the man who backs them."
"Good quality leather shoes. Always."
Andrew Little needs to wear better shaped suits with broader shoulders to show he's a strong leader. He needs to be current and invest in solid block colours. He usually does but he must always, always have some red on him, to trigger the association of who he is to the people, and who he is to the party."
