Six people were treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Christchurch overnight.

The Fire Service was called to an address on Daytona Place in Parkland, Christchurch, to find a house well ablaze at 1.17am.

A Fire Service spokesman said everyone was clear of the house when they arrived at the scene
