A 50-year-old woman was trapped in her car for half an hour this afternoon after a crash on a motorway off-ramp.
The fire service cut the woman free after the two vehicle crash on Te Atatu Road in West Auckland.
"There was one person trapped for about 30 minutes and we used the jaws of life to get that person out," Scott Osmond from the Fire Service said.
It is understood the car was hit in the side by another car.
The woman was seriously injured in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Auckland Hospital.
She is now in a stable condition.
Another person received minor injuries in the crash.
