Dunedin Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a car narrowly avoid colliding with a bus before crashing into a parked car in Glenleith.

The car crashed into the parked car on Fulton Rd, in Glenleith, about 1.10am on Thursday morning .

It is understood the car narrowly avoided colliding with a bus which was travelling uphill on Fulton Road before crashing, police said.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who have observed the incident or were travelling on the bus at the time.
