Police seek car seen knocking over letterboxes

Southland police are on the lookout for a vehicle that knocked over letterboxes near Winton before ending up in some flax bushes and fleeing the scene.

On February 27, a red vehicle was spotted at 10.40pm when it damaged two letterboxes on Winton-Lorneville Highway near Wilsons Crossing Rd as it left the road. It was then seen leaving the scene and heading south towards Invercargill.

Police have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information in relation to the incident to come forward.
