A 17-year-old youth has today pleaded guilty to sending threatening letters to parents of a Christchurch school.
The letters were sent to two families in June demanding money and threatening to harm their Mt Pleasant school aged children if it wasn't paid.
The young man, of Christchurch, appeared at Christchurch District Court this morning wearing a black dress shirt and purple tie.
His father sat in the public gallery.
He was remanded on bail and will be sentenced at the end of January.
