Police are on the hunt for a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Matamata.
On July 8, a man in the the Waikato town was assaulted and robbed by four men armed with a gun.
Three of them, aged 29, 23, and 20, were arrested after police searched a string of properties in Putaruru and Tokoroa on Tuesday last week.
A warrant has been issued for a fourth man, Shane Tamihana Mulafia.
He is a 26-year-old Pacific Islander about 1.8m tall, of medium to solid build.
Police warn he is considered dangerous and should mot be approached.
"The arrests were a direct result of response from the public to previous requests for information," Detective Chris Smith said.
"I want to thank the public for the fantastic response so far but also want to re-enforce that although arrests had been made, police are still very keen to hear from any person who may have information regarding this matter but has yet to make contact with them."
