A man accused of stealing a Starship Foundation charity box will appear in court later this month.
Titahi Bay resident Jason Hakaraia Jacobs, aged 43, was accused of stealing the box valued at $150 from a Caltex station in Dannevirke.
The Starship Foundation raises funds for the eponymous children's hospital.
When he appeared in Porirua District Court last week, Jacobs faced four other charges including unauthorised possession of Ritalin, Valium and a syringe.
He was also accused of illegally having a knife in a public place.
