Police are on the hunt for a Porirua man after they seized more than $130,000 of methamphetamine and $300,000 in cash in a drug bust.
A Cannons Creek address was searched on May 29 and a range of drugs as well as $300,000 cash was confiscated, Wellington police said.
A 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman have been arrested and a warrant for a further man's arrest has been issued.
Police are seeking John Perry Morgan Henderson, 48, who is believed to be in the Porirua area. He was described as a 1.82m-tall Maori man.
Members of the public should not approach him but information or sightings should be reported to the police.
Detective Senior Sergeant Tim Leitch, head of the Wellington drugs and organised crime team, said the seizures added up to more than $1 million in prevention outcomes.
"We are delighted to seize this large quantity of drugs and cash and its seizure has significantly reduced the harm to our community," Mr Leitch said.
"We will act with urgency to identify those involved in serious drug dealing and seize the opportunity to reduce the risk these drugs pose as well as hold those who deal them to account."
