A video has emerged which appears to show a pair of skateboarders hurtling at speed down the Kaimai Range.
The skateboarders both wear helmets and hold their arms behind their backs to help them glide.
At times they crouch down low, almost sitting on their boards, to stay balanced.
It is not known when the video was taken, but it is dated December 21 and appears to be the second time the boarders have attempted the ride, with the video titled: "Kaimais 2nd raw run.''
