A man has been arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at his flatmate during a dispute in the Bay of Plenty.
The incident happened at a Mount Maunganui property about 9.30pm yesterday, Senior Sergeant Chris Summerville said.
Police were called to the address after a 27-year-old man allegedly pointed a firearm at his flatmate.
The area was cordoned off and the man was arrested and charged with presenting a firearm and being incapable of proper control of a firearm.
Nobody was injured during the dispute, Mr Summerville said.
