Two lotto tickets bought in Waikato worth $500,000 each were as of last night yet to be claimed, the Lotteries Commission says.

Lotto's First Division prize of $1 million was struck by two players in Hamilton and Cambridge in last night's draw.

The Lotteries Commission said the tickets, which were yet to be claimed, were bought at Countdown Cambridge and United South City in Hamilton.

Powerball was not struck and jackpotted to $5 million.
