A 36-year-old Auckland man remains in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital's intensive care unit following a motocross accident yesterday.
The Waikato District Health Board said the man suffered "massive chest injuries, with multiple fractures" after crashing while riding at the Taupo Moto-X track.
He was taken to Taupo Hospital before he was flown by the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance to Waikato Hospital in critical condition.
