Last week the Herald on Sunday wrongly reported that entrepreneur Jenene Freer was launching a website selling pre-paid vouchers for cosmetic surgery and botox at up to 58 per cent off.
In fact, the vouchers at flossie.com will be for preliminary consultations, not for surgery, and any level of discount has not yet been announced.
The paper also wrongly reported that the Medical Council had been "floored" by the proposal. In fact, Freer says she has liaised with the Medical Council in designing the business plan.
The Herald on Sunday apologises for the error and has contacted the Medical Council to advise that the report was incorrect.
