A 4.9 magnitude earthquake has struck off Blenheim this morning, GNS Science reports.
The quake was centred off Clifford Bay, 30km southeast of the Marlborough town, at a depth 15km.
GNS Science said the quake was felt in the upper South Island, with felt reports as far south as Kaikoura, and as far north as the Kapiti Coast on the North Island.
