The man accused of murdering a Thai sex worker in Auckland earlier this year has not applied for bail.
Gordon Hieatt, 47, is charged with murdering 48 year-old Nuttidar Vaikaew.
Ms Vaikaew was known to her clients as Sky. Her body was found in a house in the Auckland suburb
of Western Springs on May 12.
Police have previously said she was killed on April 17.
At an earlier hearing there was an indication made that Hieatt would seek bail today.
However, Hieatt's lawyer Nicholas Wintour, said that would not now take place.
Hieatt, a computer programmer, will face a depositions hearing on November 2.
