KEY POINTS:
A woman has died of her injuries a day after a truck collided with her car on State Highway 1b near Tamahere.
Police spokesman Andrew McAlley said the 92 year-old woman had stopped at the intersection of Church and Maryland Roads before pulling out into the path of southbound light truck shortly after 8am yesterday.
She was taken to Waikato Hospital and died of her injuries today.
Mr McAlley said the woman's death brings the number of people who have died on roads within the Waikato Police District to 40 in 37 crashes this year.
