Toddler drowns in neighbour's pool

Police are investigating the drowning of a west Auckland toddler in a neighbour's swimming pool.

The three-year-old was girl reported missing from her home in suburban Ranui by her parents on Thursday evening.

A police search discovered the girl in a neighbouring property's pool. She was unable to be revived.

Police said that the death was being investigated but there were no suspicious circumstances.
